Hello and welcome to our donkey web site! The Lazy L Ranch consists of 20 acres that are home to 9 registered standard donkeys, 1 Percheron Draft Horse, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. We specialize in ADMS and ACOSA registered standard-size donkeys. All of our donkeys are "hand-raised" which means they are handled and trained from birth so that they make excellent pets and companion animals. We have donkeys of all solid colors and spotted. We usually have weanlings available for sale, but they aren't around for long--who can resist those ears??
Our philosophy is to breed quality donkeys with good temperaments and personalities as well as correct conformation. We try to be present for each and every birth to imprint on each foal from the very beginning. We do not wean any foal early. Each foal remains with his or her mother until they are 6 months of age. However, training begins immediately from day one and continues until the day of sale. Each of our donkeys receives proper hoof care, deworming and vaccinations.

The DONKEY INFO page will give you some interesting information about what donkeys are used for and donkey terminology. The DONKEY CARE page will tell you how to take care of a donkey. The IN MEMORIAM page contains memorials to the Lazy-L animals who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
